Meet Mac Graham
Kitchener resident since 2007. Husband, father of two, small-business owner, and a community builder who steps forward to serve.
Mac Graham has proudly called Kitchener home since 2007. He and his wife, Popy, have been married for more than 23 years and have raised their two sons, Bryan and Aaron, in the community they love. Both attended St. David Catholic Secondary School.
Originally from Strathroy, Ontario, Mac has lived across Canada and abroad before choosing Kitchener as the place to build his family's future. His experiences have given him a broad perspective while reinforcing his appreciation for the values that make strong communities thrive.
Mac earned his Bachelor of Arts from King's University College at Western University, studied at La Sorbonne in Paris, and holds his Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP) designation. He is fluent in English and French and is currently learning Spanish and Greek.
Meet the Graham Family
The Grahams live in midtown Kitchener, in what was once known as the "old North Ward." They love this Region and are committed to making it a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
Professional Experience
For the past 14 years, Mac has owned and operated Klyne Financial, helping individuals and families prepare for retirement and build financial security through thoughtful planning and tax-efficient strategies.
Running a small business has taught him the importance of balancing budgets, making responsible decisions, and delivering results โ experience he believes is essential at the Regional Council table.
Community Leadership
Mac believes that strong communities are built by people who step forward to serve. His community involvement includes:
- Past President, Kitchener Westmount Rotary Club, where he has led local initiatives and represented the club internationally at the 2024 Rotary International Convention in Singapore.

- Events Chair and Treasurer, Kitchener Knights of Columbus, where he founded the KW Trivia Challenge, raising more than $100,000 for local charities, and helps organize the annual Christkindl Market nativity fundraiser.
- Organizer of the Great Spring Clean Up, bringing residents together to recycle electronics, collect scrap metal and clothing, and safely dispose of confidential documents.
