Why Mac is Running
Eighteen years ago, Mac and his wife chose Kitchener because it was one of the best places in Ontario to live, work, and raise a family — safe neighbourhoods, well-maintained roads, and a Council focused on delivering the services residents expected.
Today, too many roads are filled with potholes, public spaces aren't kept up, families worry about safety, and home ownership keeps slipping further out of reach while taxes rise. Mac believes it's time for local government to refocus on the essentials: maintaining infrastructure, keeping communities safe, managing tax dollars responsibly, and helping families and businesses succeed.
